It's good for travelling (needs psu though) but then again, so are most sound cards these days (note the one you can bus power!). Any issues in preformance or stability? You know, Creative has been pretty miserable in OS X support so far. Simple to use, good drivers, good DAC and to bonus it has a sketch mic which is not too bad. Emu has release the lion driver (32/64bit) today!
So I installed it on Mavericks 10.9.4 and it works like a charm. I just didn't want to run out and buy a new DAC. From past experience, I know configuring just about any USB audio interface in Windows XP was a headache, and I am told Vista/Win7 fixes some of the audio path issues. Having googled the net I found that when one switches the OS back to 32-bit mode, the driver works and the interface is recognized and works normally. The drivers have come very late and are somewhat buggy. At home FLAC/Apple Lossless sounds better, for sure.
