Understanding what The Patchmix actually controls has been a headache out of the box. WARNING: There are currently problems with WIndows 7 and older programs which do not support ASIO driver. look at this site E-MU 1820m works perfectly on Win7 x64.

Add another new strip and choose Host Source. Emu 0404 Windows 10 ASIO4ALL is not a true ASIO driver and is unlikely to every perform as well as the E-MU ASIO driver. Cheers Jim -------------------- http://www.jimcpettigrew.com I was a long time 1616PCI user on my old DAW running XP, and I used the beta drivers when I built my new one running 7/64. Maybe the IRQ needs to be remapped or another slot chosen.

EDIT: Yeah, the Wave strip should be WDM, MME, Wave, whatever Windows is using. __________________ "Mah blahkinned sole izz daw-kaw thawn thah blahkissed nye-eeeet!!!" SQUONK SQUONK SQUEE!!! I use the E-MU 1616m with XP and Windows 7 on a regular basis for remote/location recording for several years with now with very little issues, with buffer sizes less usually

Insert a Send by right clicking in the top insert field, and select OUT 1/2 I/O Card. The way to treat E-Mu and Patchmix is like a hardware mixer, not a soundcard.

I finally had to buy myself a new interface, which I did NOT want to do.
